Global Business Topics in English〔中上級～上級〕

In each class we will talk about a current “hot topic”, e.g., efforts to increase the ratio of female participation in management, the increase in overseas M&A by Japanese companies, data/network protection strategies, globalization strategies, etc. We vary the class 'format' to suit the topic of the week. Class formats include individual speeches, team break-outs, and class debates. Each class will also include a “Current Events Round-Up” section in which we will nominate and then discuss 2 or 3 business events from the week that are interesting from a corporate strategy standpoint. For example, we recently talked about the strategic rationale behind Hon Hai’s acquisition of Sharp Corporation. Where and kind of value does Terry Gou see in Sharp and what will he do to restore profitability at company?Whatever the format and topic, the classes are highly interactive. Expect to participate and expect to be challenged.
