Listen to a short BBC English program every week over the Internet. In class, you will receive a script and read through it with a partner. The following week we will tell each other about information related to the program. Changing partners and telling your information again (to the new partner) will give you an opportunity to listen to other information and a second chance to practice explaining what you previously explained. This will help you gain speaking confidence and fluency. 　Each week you will receive two news articles and be asked to select one to summarize and comment on. The following week your work will be returned with helpful corrections. In this way, you will gain valuable practice in four skills every week: speaking listening, reading and writing. This class is conducted entirely in English.
