Class will begin each week with two students giving a short threeminute speech on a topic of their choosing. Remaining class time each week will be based on current news stories. Various kinds of news topics will be chosen, and activities on each topic will follow a regular format: vocabulary discussion, sharing of personal opinions on the topic,and listening/dictation exercises.
