The main goals of the course are to develop your ability to deal with the kinds of situations that travellers encounter on a regular basis. Each chapter integrates a variety of activities designed to help you to develop your travel-related vocabulary and grammar, as well as your conversation skills - with an emphasis on listening and discussion. Pair and group work activities have been integrated into each unit, and the listening exercises expose you to a variety of English accents. To further support your learning,the textbook includes a grammar reference, the audio script, and a DVD - which contains five travel videos (with sub-titles and worksheets), and the MP3 audio files for the listening exercises. The course will provide plenty of opportunities for you to use your English to share your opinions and travel experiences with your classmates, as well as to interact with the professor.

ＲＯＳＳＺＥＬＬＨｕｇｈ Ｒｏｄｅｒｉｃｋ（ロッセールヒュー・ローデリック）明治大学国際日本学研究科兼任講師、東京外国語大学講師2007年テンプル大学ジャパンキャンパス大学院博士課程修了。東京女子大学、御茶ノ水女子大学、上智大学、東北大学、明治大学で講師を務める。過去8年間に渡り全国英語学会の分野別研究会のコミッティーメンバーとして学会の世話役を担当。
