Each week you will be asked to listen to a short BBC English program over the Internet（ an audio CD can be provided on request, if you prefer）. You will receive the script of the program the following week and have an opportunity to read and discuss the program in class. We will also tell each other about information related to the previous week's program. （This is the same related information that you have written about for homework（see below）. Changing partners and repeating your related information to a new partner will give you an opportunity to listen to new information/opinions and a second chance to practice. This practice will help you to gain confidence and fluency in speaking.
Each week for homework you will write about something related to the topic from the transcript we read. These papers will be collected and the following week, your writing will be returned with helpful corrections. In this way, you will gain practice in the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. This class is conducted entirely in English.

(1) 9月27日（水）
Get to know the other class members, receive a list of 15 program topics, program vocabulary and listen to the first program and discuss. Homework: write about something related to the program.
(2) 10月4日（水）
Receive the listening script for the program you listened to over the last ７ days, read and discuss. Tell a partner about something related to the program from the previous week. Submit your writing homework.
(3) 10月11日（水）
Receive corrected writing and the next listening program script, read and discuss. Tell a partner about something related to the program from the previous week. Submit your writing homework.
