The teacher uses a multi-media approach. The usual format of the class consists of a brief presentation of some important or interesting news story, followed by a short video related to the textbook, and a discussion/question-and-answer period. There is also a special topic that is presented during the term. This usually is conveyed through a PowerPoint presentation. The textbook and the special topics are changed every year.
