Weekly discussion and short presentations on various aspects of American culture, including Business, Politics, Gender, Race, and the Media. Short essays on each topic. Vocabulary building. Critical thinking about American culture.I am trained in Communicative Language Teaching, which means the class requires active participation and is centered on the students. We will also use Content-Based Instruction, which means that language skill are practiced by using real, authentic content, such as newpapers and websites.
