Movie dialogue is a rich source of natural speech and current turns of phrase. Transcribing dialogue and discussing movie content can help you maintain the English fluency you achieved through work, study and/or experience living abroad. For homework, you will be asked to transcribe movie dialogue from an audio-only recording (２ to ４ pages per week depending on the movie) and review vocabulary from the script. Some class time will be spent describing the scenes from the movie to a partner. Vocabulary quizzes will be scheduled as time allows. This class is conducted entirely in English.

Watch the movie and receive character list and first transcription homework assignment
(2) 10月4日（水）
Receive "answer transcript," identify characters and engage in a "get acquainted with your classmates" activity
(3) 10月11日（水）
Receive next answer transcript, watch first section of movie, discuss transcript from previous week, review vocabulary from previous answer transcript
(4) 10月25日（水）
Review - watch previous week's section of movie and describe to a partner, receive next answer transcript, watch second section of movie, discuss transcript from previous week, review vocabulary from transcript
(5) 11月1日（水）
